In the summer of 2012, we established the first house of prayer in Juarez, Mexico! It was so exciting, the Lord had spoken to all of us so clearly about His desire for a house of prayer in the city. A place where incense will arise before the Lord night and day, drawing His healing presence to this war-torn city.
The Lord provided a building, gathered an amazing team and helped us launch the house of prayer within a couple of weeks! It was a whirlwind season of “birthing” a new vision but the Lord has lead us each step of the way. He is jealous for His house of prayer to be established in this city!
The team includes a couple of orphans that grew up in an orphanage. They are our first missionaries that we are supporting in the house of prayer! The house of prayer is connected to the orphanage and the children there are being trained in prayer and worship as well. God is bringing redemption and raising up the victims of the injustice to minister in His house as He transforms this city!
We have been partnering with the Int’l House of Prayer in Kansas City and they are providing amazing resources for training in the house of prayer. We have also connected the house of prayer in Juarez to the house of prayer movement in Mexico City. So we understand that this is part of a larger vision God has for Mexico and this relational network is key for advancing the Kingdom of God.
In November we brought a team from the spanish ministry from IHOP and we ministered in a citywide gathering on the house of prayer and the harp and bowl prayer model. We had a night of worship that weekend and the presence of Jesus filled the room. The people were so blessed and excited to experience enjoyable prayer and worship!
We are committed to seeing the house of prayer established and God’s glory coming in transforming revival to this city and region. What a joy to partner with Jesus in smething so extraordinary!
